"Mike and Millie Go To The Seaside" is a show specifically designed for people living with later-stage dementia!

The show was developed in 2022 as a part of Falmouth University's prestigious AMATA Summer Residencies, and the show was supported by The University of Hull's "StartUp Hull", Hull University's Dementia Advisory Board and Dementia Friendly East Riding.

It features live music and movement to tell the story of a couple going for a day out at the seaside in the 1960s.

​

The show has recently been performed at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Derby Theatre, Hull Truck Theatre, Ripon Theatre Festival, Pocklington Arts Centre and Darlington Hippodrome.
