"The Memory Project" is a short dementia-awareness verbatim show designed for schools and communities.

 

In 2018 East Riding Council with East Riding Festival of words commissioned Elizabeth Godber to write a new verbatim play to tour libraries in East Yorkshire, exploring the impact of a dementia diagnosis on families.

The success of the show led to it being remounted in November 2019 with a new cast, which toured Hull and East Yorkshire schools and colleges. This production was supported by the SMILE foundation and also Dementia Friendly East Riding.
